While not quite as exciting as a Morel sighting, there was a Blue Gate Farm sighting on local TV today. As part of promoting the opening of the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market this weekend, our NBC affiliate Channel 13 came out to the farm to talk about local foods and season extension. Oh, and Blue will be signing autographs for her loyal public.
